Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice work Hitchy. Now, what do we have to do to get you on a Thylacine, that's the big question.

Yep.....that's a familiar looking list. At least you're actually using the thousands of dollars you donate to MBF/Medibank Private/NIB etc etc.....

Yes, it allows me to get a better job here (the current one's not so bad though) while me make preparations. So many variables right now, including immigration for my wife. But I can now come and go as I please from this country. At least for the next 5 years. And they call it permanent?

From the time of my very earliest memory my mum used to just say "go and have a hot bath". It didn't really matter whether it was a stubbed toe or a broken femur, the bath cured all. And I've started using the same treatment on my kids... ain't that sad!

Sounds very similar to the green card in the US which has to be renewed every 10 years (I think) and if you're ever non-resident in the country for more than a year it can be revoked.

US immigration is the next thing we'll have to deal with. Not looking forward to that.

lol, wish I could ride that fast Yeah oh well, I guess it something that happens at times in life. Just could do without it at the moment... need to save some cash.

But at least tomorrow is the long weekend, looking forward to getting out for a ride at some stage and run as well maybe. Just need the weather to improve a bit.

Got Easter plans?
