Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

another young kid with ppenty of potential - Will Walker, 2nd on GC. The stage winner here had a good go at taking all the points along the way to the win.

Dave Sanders said on SEN he was the BEST 18 yo he'd ever seen. Big call from someone who's coached: McKenzie, Cooke, Lancaster, Goold, Iacuone, Drew, both Gonos, Ford etc etc

reckons the day after he won the Warny, Rabo were on the phone.

"Hello, Will speaking..."
"Ja...dis ees Theo de Rooij. Want a job?"

why would it make 5 bids in a row in about 3 minutes when nobody else outbid him? Seems crazy to me. I wonder what his limit is, I'm tempted to go $600 and see what happens.

you'll end up with a $600 frame that you wanted to pay $300 for!

no reserve, he just keeps outbidding anyone who bids.

Wampi just bid $425, he'll be along soon to beat that

Man, that was a real bender of a job. 2 A0 posters in 2 days. No brief, no copy, no images.

TGIF.

Am I too late to say how much I now despise Bettini?

You'll want to invite this guy over to play poker sometime. No control, no restraint.

D'oh! I wouldn't know how to get there from my house. We usually go in around Adamstown/Kotara, and do a loop around and through to the beach, with a coffee stop, then back.

He's an Italian (obviously), who's just retired, but he's not doing the Giro, so he was just doing a bit of a farewell to his "Ity" fans. Cipo has always been known as being a bit flashy -- he's sort of the Dermy of pro cycling.

You guys know much about the different brands of home trainers?

I started a thread about Tacx trainers

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...43#post1159443

I've only ever had one, which was a Mag, and I got rid of it after not using it for a while, so I don't have much experience with them.
