Any of you Melbournites know of a decent 3-day event around Aug/Sept? We've only got one day classics on at that time.

get in to 'em ed, they hate being told what's right versus what they think or heard someone say once. At least it's entertaining for us.

Ooooo. Great to hear Mucnhie. There's some smokin little ladies that ride around here. Normally they're to cool to even acknowledge poor ol me. If Thylo's flash wares can get me a bit of attention out of some of them then I'll be especially happy.
So it didn't fall apart?

And no, it doesn't fall apart. If you want that feature (for extra lady thrills!) you'll need to unpick most of the stitching. Unfortunately unravelling clothing might have an undesireable effect in my case, so the stitching is gonna stay intact.

did you ever get burning hot feet from a hard day in the Dandenongs when it was warm?
Man, there were days when I was coming home up past the Weelers Hill pub that I expected to find my shoes full of blood!!

Sometimes.
Used to get hot feet out doing hard country miles......like Tawonga gap to Dederang to Porepunkah or something like that.
Rough road vibration + hot weather + hours without getting out of the saddle = hot feet.
At the JCTDU Robbie does most of each stage with his feet on top of his Sidis, squashing the uppers!!

To a septic with no sense of humour you probably are, but don't let that stop you. The world would be a solemn place if we all tiptoed around trying not to upset each other. The dude had just given up smoking if you noticed his signature, he's probably just terminally grumpy.
I recently had a little bout with someone over an attempt at humour - https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/107756-whats-century-feel-like-wearing-runners-singlet.html. Same thing I expect.
But please, keep your dickery to yourself and yours. This is a family show
