Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I reckon I'll have to race in it this weekend. I'm bound to get asked who TC are, so PM me your 20 second spiel on what you build and why they're so good Wokka.
Just tell them to look at the collar.

Can someone point me in the direction of the part of our thread where the unfortunate broken plastic bike (LOOK) is discussed? I need some ammunition.

I've tried getting the "cap under the helmet" thing going, but I just can't get it together

the peak usually ends up covering my whole face.

I only found out a couple of years ago that they mainly do it to keep rain of the sunnies.
I thought they just did it to keep their heads warm.

As you may recall, despite his subsequent optimism, it WAS a crack.

if you want more, just do a "find more posts by this user" on Hitchy

The other thang that puzzles me is why those massively thick white rim sunnies are so popular with roadies. I mean you can only see straight ahead, no periferal vision at all. Have you tried looking back with those thangs. All you get is RIM! you need to lift your head a foot to see forward passed the RIM!
They do look cool though and just maybe it's worth the sponsorship $$$$$$$. But why would someone who aint gettin paid, wear 'em riding on the road? or more worser, racing? unless 'cool' rules.
