Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Maybe someone should start a new thread "In defense of plastic bikes". Hitchy? Sydney seems to look for an argument in his threads. Oh well.

...its hump day...we're all quietly plotting the downfall of this weekend's opponents!....either that or contemplating a hill of 13.% ave gradient with a steepest part of 15.8% like me. The very thought has struck fear into my heart. doesn't mean i'm not gunna do it but!....

NSW played crap IMHO. If they'd won it would have been an injustice.

I wonder who the NSW half will be in the next game?

yeah true but they put on a couple of great tries. The first QLD try was pure luck. IMO that should be a knock-on, unless you actually kick it with your foot, it's a dropped ball. Anyway, good close footy is always great to watch.

Now all we need is a Waratahs victory !!

what's Neuron steel tubing all about? I just got a nice training frame made of it. Trying to age the frame. It used to be Brett Lancaster's bike, has an AIS decal on it, number braze-on etc.

Also has internal routing on the top tube, something I've never had before.
