So glad I switched back to the Aliante. Was like going to first class seating... Junk approved.

I am on the look out for saddles. I am trying to find "the one"
Mzeffex, a lot is wear, but when the light hits shorts just right I think just about all of them are translucent. Black seems to be worst for the "just right lighting" situations, but then again white is risky from the "wet" persepective.
Here are the better pictures of my bike (and my old one) just because
old (an old picutre as well R700 crank on there now and different fit

New (still playing with the adjustments)

No I don't care that I already posted in the BMC thread. I need to catch up to Pcad needlessly posting pictures of his bikes.

The geometry is actually very similar even though the fuji is a "58" and the BMC is a "55" No part is more than 6 mm or .5 degrees off. I may need a longer stem with the shorter handle bars though. I actually might consider a real fitting now that I have a bike I consider worthy

Pcad, a guy crashed in my group ride today, thank God he didn't bring down my new bike. Do you ever worry about such things?

damn.
A few weeks back I saw a heavy lady (at least 250-300) on a flatbar converted road bike.... Cervelo R3 frame, Lightweight wheels, and she was wearing a tri helmet. No joke.
In BF tradition of user R600 (or whatever his name was) I dialed it up to 400w and passed her without looking back. I could tell she was suffering even though my legs felt as snappy as they did when I started 100 miles ago.

Ha! I got dropped by a group today, I was trying to keep up with about 6 or 7 members of the same team. I couldn't. It's amazing what a pack can do that a single rider can't.

FINALLY, someone at CNN woke up. Anderson Cooper admits they dropped the ball and will be broadcasting from Nashville tomorrow--five days after the flood.

Hey Gomer, they shut down the RFK Bridge last night (formerly called the Triborough Bridge) because there was an abandoned U-Haul truck that smelled of gasoline. Turned out to be an abandoned U-Haul truck with a leaky gas fill pipe.
I can assure you that the resulting cluster fark from closing such a major artery in a city like NY is considerable.
Sooner or later (sooner I suspect) the rat bastards will pull it off in a major American city, it probably will be NY, and dozens or scores of innocent people will die. If we're lucky. If they pull it off the way they really want to, thousands will die. At that point nobody will be talking about flooding in Nashville.

But back to cycling. I applied that FSA compound to my slipping CF TT bike aerobars last night. Hoping they stop moving around now. I will take out for a test flight today.

i can spent hours with my back flat on the hoods, and below flat in the drops. i can barely pass my knees though on a toe touch. I just think the romin can help me even more.

If/when that happens it will be sad, especially for those people. Meanwhile, millions of people die from causes other than terrorism, yet for the most part the media doesn't try to scare the crap out of us about that every night.
