Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's threads like this that dumb down the BikeForums populous and turn them against my cerebral discussions.

let it go! your thread was an in-depth discussion on the pros and cons of pothole repair strategies in different parts of the country. What a page turner!

Based on the other pics I've seen, I would bet that Lance uses 2cm of spacers. What are you using PCad? 3cm? Sounds like a big fuss over 1cm of difference. Unless, of course, you think Lance you need to lecture Lance about his bike fit.

Look also at the age difference.
Look at the physical limitations.
Look at the build and condition.
Look at the training available to LA.
Look at the riding styles.
Better yet,
Look at the two pretty bikes. Who gives a crap about comparing pcad to LA.

You are making my point. All this thread, I have been trying to say how a person as you are describing doesn't need a bike with a "pro" geometry when there are many bikes out there that would provide a better fit without a disadvantage in performance.

I am done here; I will now go ride my titanium Fred bike with its taller than average but makes the bike fit well head tube...

Since you're actually going to go ride a bicycle, this would be your chance to STFU too.

If I can get just one more Road Nazi Imbecile to put me on 'Ignore' each week, I feel my time here is not completely in vain.

You know, after each post, I look at the post above, and it will say '#448' for example. Then the post I've just entered says '#0".

Is BF trying to tell me something?

It is a garlic pie, on a carbon pie plate and eaten with a carbon spoon. The benefits of carbon are limitless.
