Think of this thread as the 41 Twitter Feed. Less ego, more stupidity, hairier legs.

Well, that Scott is nice, but it's no Cervelo.

So I cue up for the race in PP yesterday, and I wind up next to the very same Team Organic dude who caused the crash on the Nyack Ride that sent me to the hospital. He is back racing 4 weeks later with a healing broken collarbone (simple break, he's doing OK). We compared Ptap head units. He has a Garmin. I asked him if he needed the GPS to find his way around the PP course. I told him to follow everybody else and keep making left turns. Nice guy, glad he's OK.

It's not as bad as it sounds.
. . . it's worse!

pcad's advice within the last 20 pages was not to be on the front when things get fast...he never listens.
And the shaving things goes both ways in marriage, I get to pick what she shaves (to some degree)

I just got back from watching the Crystal Ride.. a big non competitive ride thing with lots of freds on TT bikes with zipps. One of said freds (he did look legit-ish though) slid out and landed about a foot from where I was standing with my bike. That was scary. He was shaking, I was a little. I now am re-evaluating the whole racing idea.
Then on my ride home I crashed at 25. Kind of. Except I actually just fell because of clipless. Broke both of the shifter faceplates, ripped toupe, and broke a shoe buckle. Elbow is.. ick.

Leave the bike scuffed. It's ready to race now.

Explain this falling at 25 due to clipless. I am wondering how that happened, and why it would be race related?

Why don't we all just use friggin' twitter instead of infecting bf with these dumbass threads? Between this, the 33's twitter feed and the junior thread we collectively make up 99% of the interesting posts on bf, and most of them aren't even about riding bikes.

This morning I traveled by car to a couple roads I usually only see on rides.
It was hot, humid, and some spotty showers were firing up.
I saw a couple solo roadies along the way. I could only shake my head at how incredibly loser-like both of them looked.
Who would do something so dumb?
