Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sadly, I feel this thread has lost much of its original BF Integrity.

I chased large buzzards off my roof twice today. Could be time for a .22 rifle.

With a scope of course.

On your roof isn't an issue.

When you see them on your climb up Mt. Doom, start to worry.

You may want to ask the 33 which is the best one. They surely will know.

Hell, you can probably get them to do 5 pages just reminiscing.

I didn't realize this thread started with Integrity.

For all that is Good and Holy in the Wide World of BF, I am willing to step down as a contributor to Addiction if I have compromised its Integrity in any way. Some may consider me a martyr, but I am not.

if you are shooting something on your roof, you must be a pretty poor shot to need a scope.

today I had blood taken for a blood test by a nurse who has not dealt with me before. She said, "You should do some exercise. It will really help."

I wanted to slap her. instead i just said, "uh huh. I'll think about it."

Fine, and you?

Went to a midday concert featuring talented young high school musicians. They each premiered a new work by a young (college-aged) area composer. A good time was had by all.

Back at work, I'm running European sales forecasts. They're still effed, but not quite as effed as they were last year.

I facepalmed the idea of wearing reflective strips on your ankles, as opposed to somewhere that drivers might actually see.

Wearing a light on your head is pretty Fredly, but if you are riding in the dark at least it accomplishes something.

Actually, I saw a guy riding one night that had sneakers with reflective patches. First thing I saw.
