Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I did and tried them. Taste okay, but hate the grit.

/sigh.

I called twice about cancelling it, and they both assured me that there was no auto ship for the free trial. When I read the details on it, it says I will automatically be subscribed to the monthly shipment after my 14 day trial ends.

Wtf. This is annoying. I can't cancel a "non existent" shipment.

But when I view my account it does show no current autoship.

That's like 23.52 mph. Not bad at all. Do you have to stop at all on this loop?

LOL. That would have sounded much more elite.

Tastes like ass with a twist of orange.

I found myself on the Moots website today. I can't help it. I find the Vamoots RSL very sexy.

Restoring some original BF Integrity.

Is it? That's a bit faster than I thought--I was hoping for 22 mph. It's possible that the MapMyRide mileage is a little off--sometimes those things act screwy--but it appeared to map what I actually ride.

The loop has two right turns. One of them is at a stoplight, but there wasn't anyone coming tonight so I didn't lose much additional speed (apart from the turn).

It sure was muggy tonight. I stopped three times (not while on the clock) to wipe sweat out of the eyes. Worst impact this summer.

Well, you said 4.92 miles, done in 12:55. 60/12.55 = 4.7808765 X 4.92 = 23.521912

Bikes: Have two wheels

The Moots looks pretty nice. However, I'm still coming to terms with the look of sloping top tubes. It just looks wrong.

That being said, my next bike will likely have a sloping top tube.

If you post your time, the distance and the conditions, I'll let you know if there is any veracity to your dubious claim.

Let me know if that's too many $25 words, I can always dumb it down for you.

My creative juices were flowing tonight. After reading about the benefits of an elevated dog feeder for larger dogs, I went into the garage. I emerged with this:

Don't spill any of that stuff in here.

I'm sure your dog will appreciate your carpentry skills.
