Interesting Nyack Ride today. Started slow, they turned up the gas 10 miles from the end, I missed the split, almost closed the gap (we came within 30 feet) but neither myself or the mopes who came through after I flicked my elbow (my HR was 186 at the time) could quite get there. Oh well. Good workout. 7 of us chasing 10-12 of them, which generally doesn't favor the 7.

This thread is now more like a blog. I remember when this thread started - I shaved my face that day. I now have a full beard and mutton chops. I vow not to shave until this thread is elected into the BF HOF.

EDIT: ...or it is eradicated from the internet as well as our collective memory :D

It really is like trying to teach sign language to the blind on this stupid Forum.

What were we riding on the Nyack ride and how was it?

Cervelo S2, Zipp 404 clinchers. It was utterly friggin pathetic.

I have two, clinchers and tubulars. They both RULE.

But you can only kill me once.

patentcad 02-28-10 07:05 PM

Oh, by the way, my dog Sam retrieved my Sunday paper on command today. He RULES.

patentcad 02-28-10 08:46 PM

You would think a monumental Sam development like him bringing me the paper (just like the Golden Retriever in the NY Times ads) would get more of a rise out of you losers.

My cat comes with me to get the paper in the morning.

Nice day but still very wet, another day on the trainer.

That's not the same.

Long LT intervals on the TT bike tomorrow. They suck.

mzeffex 03-01-10 07:44 PM

I've never seen a picture of your TT bike. It's a slice, right? Pics or it didn't happen.

patentcad 03-01-10 07:53 PM

When I'm on the Slice, don't worry, it's not happening.

mzeffex 03-01-10 07:56 PM

Huh? I don't want pics of you on it, just regular ones.

You get what you pay for.

Position is slightly more stretched out now, 120mm stem (that's a 110 mm in photo), armrests about 1 cm higher. That actually results in a better (and more aero) position.

mzeffex 03-01-10 08:09 PM

Thank you for that

patentcad 03-01-10 08:27 PM

Do you like the signature floppy socks? I no longer employ those.

Velo Vol 03-01-10 10:07 PM

Oh good grief, a time trial helmet?

QuickityJacks 03-01-10 10:13 PM

Hop, skip, and a jump away from Jay Garrick.
