This thread is a perfect depiction of the 41; started by pcad and pointless.

1-2" this AM. It melted. It is supposed to get sunny and high 40's this weekend. Dry. Looking forward to it. Good weather to start the race season (my first race is Sunday in Central Park).

How old are the people you race against?

Kai Winters 03-03-10 08:33 PM

Races the pigeons...P always wins but the pigeons say they let him...

Do you know what is addicting? Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

But they melt in your back pocket.

I compensate by making PB&Nutella gyros.

They are way better than those overpriced energy bars.

Those sound dangerous, deliciously dangerous.

Which gives me an idea.

Hershey should get into the growing energy bar market by making liquid Reese's Peanut Butter Gels.

Liquid Addiction.

Are you listening?

Not sure I want to come back from a ride fatter than when I left...

I generally race in the 35+, sometimes the 45+. But characterizing what I do as 'racing' when I ride with these guys is a stretch. On the other hand I rarely finish DFL. And I do typically finish as opposed to getting spit out the back. In my last race in October I missed top 10 by one spot. 11th. That sucked, but it wasn't such a bad result for me. Hell, I was happy to hang in that race (small field, tougher to not get dropped).

If you could get this thread to keep going, you could have more posts than the 7 year old "What road bike do you have?" thread in less than a year.

Go Ahead Ask Pcad Anything has way more posts than that stupid thread. And that thread can't be killed.

It is Night of the Living Thread.
