Also, here's the garmin data from my fitting tonight. It's kinda funny.

Yup. I friggin hate needles.

Honestly I'm more pissed about the condition of my bike. The other shop better remember to send my saddle over in the transfer thursday.

do you guys have any Toupe 143's in the old style with the carbon trim. I have a new one that I never put on because I hate how it looks. Been riding the scuffed one.

Bugs me to ride a scuffed bike too. Reminds me of an incident that I would rather forget.

that's the one, except I'm looking for black. I see them on eBay, but all of the idiots (many of which are in here) pay entirely too much for them.

Vol, you let brake pads kick your ass? really?

Negative. The only thing that was really a problem was removing the pads from the holder. They were stuck in there and wouldn't slide free. I had to work it with a screwdriver and kind of tore the sides off. That's what took a long time.

The rest of it was slow, because I'm generally mechanically clumsy and take a while to get things centered, but I didn't get hung up on any of it.

Anyway, now there's something wrong with the cabling, apparently (which I recently replaced). Front brakes are sticky. The problems never end.

I'm hoping to get 90 for mine. I don't know if that's too steep a price or not though. Opinion?

Keep at it, you'll get it. Or, brakes, who needs 'em. Pick the one you like best.

Maybe I'm just too cultural, I don't know, but I found this excerpt from a conversation I saw on my Facebook news feed to be a real "wtf" moment.

& WTF YU NEVER HAD SUSHI!?

No I've never had sushi....because I'm not Asian.

You're mature for your age. Don't let it go to your head.

Got fitted tonight. Seems OK, but kind of annoying that the saddle is now a bit far back on the rails.

I never got fitted on my bike but my seat is pretty far back.

How do you determine the right distance?

KOP - knee over pedal.

It's more comfortable (at least from the trainer during fitting), but it just looks a bit off.

I think that's in the eBay range. I paid $140ish for my new one at the LBS... given the longer I look at it the more I hate how much I paid, but the used ones on eBay going for over $100 seems goofy.
