Did you even leave the house?

I had to wait around for the cleaning people to finish.. cleaning.. and then had a quick ride before I have to go to work shortly.

Embracing tulex's notion of tolerance, I will note that I have no problem with folks from Minnesota. They're rather friendly.

Unfortunately, they are victims of Brett Favre. Even his agent is calling him a pansy.

Sounds like a waste of laundry.

Sorry, I meant that in the nicest way possible.

What makes people in Wisconsin any dumber than people in New York?

LAJ 07-21-10 09:07 AM

Always had a good time back there. Folks always seemed decent. Course, when one is hauling a race car, folks tend to be a bit nicer.

LAJ 07-21-10 09:09 AM

We have a 2010 Prius here. From the Gen 1 to these Gen 3's, they have gotten huge.

I'd like to blame pCad for that, but I think it's just bad parenting.

I thought the 1980s was the "Me" decade. Wait, to which generation are you referring? Could be the same people, just older.

WhyFi 07-21-10 09:10 AM

Two words: Jay Cutler.

Oh, I'm from MN, by the way, like many Brooklynites, it seems.

Beer saturation from embryo to the casket.

I finally figured out how to change the max hr on the garmin. I didn't know about the "send to device" button on garmin connect. Now it won't say 203% when I'm at 185.

I've been meaning to ask about your avatar. What motor is that? From the pipes, I'd guess it's in a railer or funny car.

Well, maybe it's that those people are raising kids today.

This is the Addiction thread. What do you think?

Tulex 07-21-10 09:20 AM

I think racing is like drugs. When I read about someone in the 41 talking about their first race, it's like a kid trying beer. Once he is hooked, before you know it, he's in the 33 doing crack.

That was Melanie Troxel's fueler during a warm-up. Almost see each individual firing event.

But, back in the day, I pitted for a fellow named Rick Carelli during his ASA, Artgo, Open Comp days. That's when Late Model racing was king.

i just frightened myself. i did read back and found i had posted earlier today and i have no recollection of being on bf today. I'm now postin gon autopilot.

I'm considering new wheels, there's something cycling related for you.

I spent many happy hours in the pits at the drag races as a kid. My dad ran a Willys Gasser from the 1960s through the early 1980s.

oh i can say something relevant. I recently got new wheels just under 1500g and cheap. Having ridden them a bit now, I say they are so damn stiff they may even be too stiff for me.

Jay Cutler is the future. You just wait.

On a side note, could you have more washed up coaches on one team? Starting with Lovie the Ringleader, then Mike Tice, Mike Martz, and Rod Marinelli.

There is great promise for the Chicago Bears.

I finally got around to hanging up some stained glass I purchased in MA in my bed room. It adds class.

Why are you buying stained glass in your bedroom in MA?

Much admiration for you and your dad. I think the Willys Gasser is THE car. Big John Mazmanian in his candy apple red Willys was a hero of mine.
