In 30 years or so, you can use that photo as proof that you were once alive.

Fixed.

Hydrogen is a lighter gas. Go with hydrogen. Oh yeah, you might float have no traction. I guess the 2nd lightest gas will do.

I'm always a little baffled by these stories of people who don't know who/what they are marrying.

hey cride, your location is so damned cryptic. give us a further hint, please.

Thing is, though, how much sense does it make to drive a fair bit and plunk down $10 just to make the startling discovery that there are bike weenies who can ride 8 miles faster than I can?

actually, that sounds like something i would do but just the once. i am curious where i sit in the great social caste system of roadie land.

8 posts and he delivers this.

This cride kid shows promise.

Hey pcad, there is a guy who rides around here who resembles what I think you are like. He used to race a lot in the past, and now races occasionally. Still comes on the group rides, but gets dropped once the pace gets pretty high.

The only thing missing is a dog, bench, porch, and nice bikes.

When I'm in shape I don't get shelled.

Sweet mother of Merckx I'm getting skinny. I shall dance on all your friggin Fred graves as the French offer up small babies and throw soft cheeses as is the custom.

I've been losing weight too, my wife has noticed and approves but doesn't want me to get too skinny. Had a really strong ride this morning due to a tri geek on my wheel; he took a pull then when he pulled off and saw me picking up speed he tells me he's going to take it easy.

Popped another spoke on my Williams System 19s during a hard effort....they're starting to make me wonder whether it's time to move on to something else.

A lot of riders here definitely aren't going to float.

I know, but I'm trying to stay away from large bike purchases for a while....work with me here.

Wait. I thought they were cheeseheads?

All cheeseheads are boneheads, but not all boneheads are cheeseheads.

A trucker delivered some furniture from my mom's apartment in Chicago yesterday. He was from Wisconsin - black jeans, sleeveless black t-shirt, and long hair. In the back of the truck, he had a carton of Reds and a cooler of Bud Light and Mountain Dew. When he left, he asked me where he could find the nearest Chinese buffet. He said he could "kill" a Chinese buffet.

Exactly.

There is just too much hate today. The more we become a "Me" generation, the less tolerance we have for others.

I'd like to blame pCad for that, but I think it's just bad parenting.

WhyFi 07-21-10 08:39 AM

Nice to know that Minnesotans aren't alone in despising cheeseheads.

There would have to be some really weird, unnatural schlit going on for pcad to be a parent of mine.

mzeffex 07-21-10 08:48 AM

Just had a nice 13 mile ride. Threw in some sprints, some hill repeats, got lost and found a velodrome minus the banks. Did some laps around that which was cool, except for the grass growing out of the cracks.

You above all Bike Weenes should know better than to ask Pcad to violate his BF Prime Directive, which is to encourage blowing the mortgage money on bike crap.

You know, mortgage = mort gage = death gauge. I think I'm onto something here.

13 miles?

Did you even leave the house?

hmm, blowing the mortgage money on a new set of wheels gives me a pretty nice budget to work with. There I was thinking I'd try and economize....Dura Ace, come to poppa!
