Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The 33 is far too testosterone jacked, delusional and egomaniacal to be Romper Room.

That's a halftime show, you soccerhead.

That group--or one like them--did one this past season. It was better than most of the halftimes, if that tells you how bad some of the shows were.

Does Uncle Pcad somehow attract the kids? A nutty cycling father figure, perhaps.

can we have a virtual race tomorrow?

we agree a certain distance and climbing range. we each go and find a route that fits into the parameters and then we ride it and post our results. ride time and total time. that should be fun.

What torque wrench should I get? Current ride has aluminum post/steerer so I've never bothered, but the new ride coming has carbon bits that I don't want to mess with.

All climbing ranges are not created equally.

get some carbon assembley paste. finish line does it, richey does it and taxc does it. i'm sure plenty others do too. i just get it reasonably tight but not not to the point where i would strain to turn the allen wrench. Not good but i wasnt going to get a torque wrench for just one stem.

In BF Justice news this Friday morning . . . . . .

https://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/07/29/...ex.html?hpt=C1

I know one of Masters' lawyers quite well. One of the best in the state. This is justice.

I always wonder how they get evidence to convict people years after the fact.

isn't it DNA? i think they keep biological evidence and such. We have a case where a serial killer was caught and now police forces all over the place is trying to match him to unsolved murders from decades ago. some have already matched. scary.

In that case they convicted him years later without DNA. Then he got exonerated because of DNA evidence.

And prosecutorial and law enforcement misconduct. They had no evidence whatsoever to convict him, except for a few of his drawings.

I'd bet Justice exists to a great extent in coasting's part of the world.

grass is always greener, but unfortunately everywhere there are miscarriages of justice. we've had some whoppers and more often then is comfortable.
