Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You have to do a tri before it's a tri bike.

Specialized Crux. Red white and black, internal cables, bright green bar tape + cables. That's right. Cross is such a fun sport I have to have a fun bike. Specialized says the frame will be available late August - I hope that's right.

I've come to the conclusion that my PowerTap is female.

She keeps telling me that I'm only good for a few thrusts and that my stamina sucks.

I love her anyway.

Downtube shifters weigh a lot less than STIs.

So stop putting money into your bikes and start entering races.... after all, it's the engine, not the bike.

Only the 2nd girl to post here in over 500 pages, and these guys are still fascinated by sausage talk. Fascinating. And pathetic.

How'd you break your wrist Holly?

I carried home a 5 foot tall TDF cardboard poster on my bike tonight. Held it under one arm, rode with one arm. It was fine, except through turns. It was like a sailboat.

You know how many of my YouTube videos say this:

This video contains content from WMG. It is no longer available.
Plenty. Silly copyright disputes.
