Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My cable provider's server and web email has been down for 15 hours. This is like the BP oil spill, only it effects me.

fwiw I was joking when I chimed in first. Esp in iowa I could see the appeal.

for those playing a long at home this is typically the portion of our program where I respond to pcad in kind and then he sends me 9 emails and 6 pms asking me why I'm such a ******, and then he posts how all I do is denigrate people on BF. sigh.

Wow, I don't know if I should feel good or bad that he doesn't send me emails and pms. And I don't think it's because he knows why I'm such a ******.

By the way, what work gives you ****** without spelling part of it?

You do everything online with malice and sans humor. Oddly you don't seem to realize that's how you come across over the web. Regardless shorty, if you don't like me, take a friggin number.

This does appear to be a major enterprise database server crash. Happens to big companies, airline reservations systems, etc. It's a clusterfark. I'll be surprised if they have this fixed before Monday.
