True.

What just happened? On Versus as Phil or whoever said "They [Contador and Schleck] are friends again now" it showed Contador kind of rubbing Schleck's face.

:wtf:

Don't worry, any TdF rider could poop on them all at once.

I think I'll drug up tonight to see if I can get some sleep.

It's 63º outside this AM instead of 80º. That helps.

In cycling, everything is fuglier in white.

friggin 'Murray'?

Murray built a lot of the best cruisers and middleweights. A real sleeper.

When it comes to the "classics" you gotta at least go with Schwinn.:D

Her name is Germaine. I had to use Higgins/Elgin fenders and a Hawthorne tank but she'll have them soon.

I have 17 pages of my own for Tempest, remember.

Murray built my Western Flyer as well.

All that's in the thread, three years down the line.

A recreational cyclist friend of mine (not here) made a Facebook comment about riding slow. I offer witty response.

His reply, in part:

"I'm lugging about 50 more lbs than you"

Is that the kind of excuse you would make to another fatty?

Maybe. At 260+ my mode is still go like crazy.

Not hard. Already crazy.

Aerodynamic, but your pits are still...yah, a social conundrum.

I always have fond memories of taking sunfish out on the lake....does that even count as sailing? How much do those things cost used?

I went out with the sailing club at school once... rich white kids in the making right there. They had like one size up...they were tossing words like lasers and 420s around not sure what the heck I was in but it seemed nice.

coasting 07-26-10 05:42 AM

i threw up on a boat once.

Yes, boat rigged and ready to sail is 165#.

I bailed when I realized both hulls were in the air. Not much chance of saving that and didn't want to get tangled in the wreckage. The last mast (about a year old) was $5k (it's insured, but I think they may be getting tired of me). A new ACat is about $20-25k, a good used one is about $12-15k. For that you get to sail at roughly the speed of the wind up to about 20knots (23mph). After that bad things start to happen (usually just a capsize or a pitchpole, but apparently they just fly at 58knots).

They are exceptionally stupid.

hey herbie

if we had a pedalo race, would your sailing exprience give you an advantage?
