Did you attach the carbon mast that fell off to your bicycle? I think that's cheating.

had an evening ride today and for the first time, it didn't suck. It might have something to do with the fact I'm on a diet that doesn't consist of pizza, hot dogs and mcflurries or maybe that my day was frustrating and I took it out on the bike. either way, i needed that ride. Also passed the 4000 mile mark today for 2010.

I like it a lot. It is going to be really useful for next season (racing is almost done for me this season). I need to finish the rest of my tests (15s, 1min, 5min) so I can see where I'm lacking and what I need to work on for next season. I think it is also going to be useful for winter riding so I don't go too easy or too hard.

My seasons pretty much over too. Only three races left, but hopefully I'll get the 8 points I need for my 3 upgrade. As much as I would like to have a PM I'm going to resist getting one as long as I can.

Why resist? They are an incredibly useful training tool. Good luck in the 3s! I've got one more road race left and then I may do some weekly training races, but other than that I'm done. Base training starts in mid november for the collegiate season...fun.

It's my first year racing so I don't think it's really worth it until I stop seeing gains. In fact I just ordered an Edge 500, so at least I can start training with HR . I also go to school at ISU, so I know someone who is willing to coach me for free which should be a bigger help than just a PM.
