Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'll say. Some ahole cager was t-gating me today. Cranked the ST from 50 to 80 mph in about 4 seconds. He was a tiny spot in the mirror. Made my left turn onto the back road and slowed down again.

Stupid friggin cager morons.

The climb up and over the canyon where I live is often a fools parade of fleet footed cagers. It's one of the few north south routes from the valley to the coast, so people fly through with abandon bordering on reckless. I don't like flying around these sharp bends in the road because it chews my car tires up, so I've gotten into the habit of pulling over when a line of cars are behind me so I can drive at my own pace.

Why is posting a video that includes girls in bikinis creepy? They were all in public showing the public. Guys and girls go just to look, girls and guys go just to show. If a news station was there doing a story on today's bikinis, it isn't creepy. I don't get it.

If he seemed to be the kind of guy that would follow up in a sick manor, I would get it. But I don't think this guy is like that. I think he was having fun. I think this guy has a sense of humor. His blog is about much more than that video. I just don't think the intent is there like it's being placed.

And this whole mikey thing. Bottom line is that they beat the crap out of him in the 33, yet he tags along like a puppy. He's the kind of guy that follows the 33 into the 41 and adds on. Trying to earn his stripes. He's just being called on it.

Sometimes during the race season when i get down to like 157ish i can float pretty well, right now after the disasterious season i have had i don't roll too well..i might not show the pain but it's a lot slower than last year

what he said...it's like lifting weights...do it right with less weight and you'll be happier in the long run.

Hey ijen0311,

What's your cycling history? How long have you been riding and what piqued your interest in the sport?

A vast majority (95%+) of the younger females I see exercising (outside) here are joggers.

Random thought - - I LOVE seeing female joggers.
