Hey Gomer, do you actually have a job?

Good morning people.

no disrespect ma'am, but are you trying to overtake sir pclown for the numbers of posts? you won't be threatening his overall count for a while, but i think you've got him beat as far as average post/day is concerned. too bad there's no award for it

The Cubs got swept. I gave up my club level tickets to sit with the proletariat and watch our starting pitcher last 1/3 of an inning.

No riding, just baseball all weekend. What a waste of time.

Is it possible to "jam" your front dérailleur?

All I did yesterday was tighten and loosen the bolt that holds the cable. And yet now it seems like it is stuck in the small ring position and doesn't want to shift.

IF you pull on the cable by hand, say along the frame, and can't move it, you have an issue with the FD. If it moves, it's just adjusted wrong.

I cleaned my whole bike yesterday. Took 3 hours.

How can it take so long to clean a bike. I clean 2 bikes, including drives in less than an hour. And my bikes shine when I do that.

Yes. It was working fine. I only removed the cable because it was off track underneath. Initially, when I attempted to reattach the cable, the derailluer movement seemed normal (as far as I could tell). Now, for mysterious reasons, it doesn't move.

Well, that's a bit more than cleaning.

That sounds like an overhaul.

Edit: ... as you said above.
