Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Velo Volmobile

A roof rack is the easiest way to roll.

See? You'll work with it a few times and eventually it'll all start to work out.
Now I have to figure out making the quick release quick.

I never suggested that it was different or less inane. It is more inclusive, as we tolerate you, and everyone else. We tried to get TopGear to settle down, and welcome him here with hopes he will.

Why it started, of which I have no clue, so can't be ignoring it, isn't my concern. I don't care that you have that thread. Good for you. I think you have a warped sense of what community is though.

Tulex, you are digging yourself into a hole here. Saying "it basically started with" implies that it had something to do with the formation and expansion of the thread. It was one random post that happened to be near the start of it. As for community, it is a lounge for the members of the road racing forum to hang out and discuss random things. Hey, similar to this thread. Edit: and remarkably, it allows us to keep the rest of the threads more on topic.

We tolerate anyone who isn't acting like an idiot. We generally don't tolerate idiocy. Sorry.

No one cares. Squishing a bike into a car must be more fun than I thought.

Not too literal. it's just wrong, stupid, and proves you're either clueless or simply have nothing better to do than be divisive. I have no issue with the road forum. I post there frequently, though usually only in threads that have content that interest me. That you think I have an issue with the road forum, that you buy pcad's road nazi schtick, or that you think I use racing as a way of thinking I'm better than others here are contrivances of your own imagination. But just so we're clear I'm done discussing this with you and I'm just going to start reporting your posts of that nature towards me and I'll let the moderators sort it out.
