Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Stick that in your pipe.
Not the RMCC ride I take it. 70 miles, and at least 6000 feet.

I'm in Bowie. Intersection of redneck and East DC. Fun place... but, fairly convenient to both cycling and sailing. Let me know if you visit, at the very least I can point you to a ride or something.

Thanks. I haven't been bringing my still cam since I started with the video cam. Ironically I brought it with me on last Sunday and it got a little scratched up in my crash. I was going climbing with fauxto nick after and wanted to document his suffering

It's alright... it's no Old Town or Annapolis or Alameda, but it's ok. Just another burb. I have a boat we can escape to on the bay when necessary.

This made it in my top 3 a few weeks ago before I decided on my Scott. I saw one at a shop with Ultegra going for $3800 so that seems like a deal. I've heard several negative reports on finish quality from some new owners (both FP2 and FP3) but the ones I have seen looked clean.

The squiggly forks and seat stays on the Pinarellos just look too cartoony to me.

No kidding. I often change the channel. Very few things tick me off more than hearing stories of animal abuse.

I suspect it was intended as some good-natured ribbing initially. Then, some folks started taking it seriously and things got nasty.
