Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

To keep things on-topic, or at least on a tangent, how does the super stiff (slothy? You out there?) ride of the Scott affect the extraction pain?

I find the Addict increasingly plush.

Funny, I was going to blame you.

The fact that this thread has roared right past the legendary "We are gong to yell at you" speaks volumes. Doesn't necessarily speak well though.

Your Vols made a nice run. Women's team ran into a force of nature. If UConn can get past Baylor Summit will be sourer than ever, I'd think.

I saw your exact bike (color, components) at a shop recently. It was nice.

Incorrect.

I have upgraded the saddle, handlebars, wheels, cassette and brake calipers. It is the best looking paint job on a Scott Addict I've ever seen however. So you are partially vindicated.

The basketball loss still hurts, especially since I think we had just as good a shot at winning it all as anyone left in the final four. Alas. At least we have a great-looking freshmen class coming in next year.

Since no one can even get within 20 of UConn, I don't see them losing--even if they have a bad night.

Now it's the misery of spring practice and the prospect of the upcoming football season. Our roster looks so bad that we maybe drafting cross-country track team members to play offensive line.
