Since being a Mets fan is not sufficiently humiliating for some of us, I will be participating in the High Point Hill Climb TT tomorrow, fully anticipating a PW (Personal Worst) and possibly a DFL (Dead Friggin Last) finish in the 45+. But you never know. There's always somebody slower. And I haven't been feeling quite as crappy lately. Hell, I haven't taken an antibiotic or a painkiller for 3.5 weeks. I look at this pointless exercise as the first day of training for the 2011 High Point Hill Climb.
I am such a friggin idiot. That being said, this sport needs me more than I need it.

My wife got her license using a standard...neener neener neener
Oh did I say they did not have automatics at the time and the only way to start the car was using this crank type thingy that plugged into the front of the car.
hehehe don't tell my wife or I'm a dead man hehehe

62 hard ones (miles you pervs) we had some high winds, 20 + mph. Rode anyway. Sprinted a bit, hit 34 mph x2. Got paced by a couple of young ladies giving me the thumbs up at 30 mph, was frigging sweet! Then got into an altercation with a motorist. All the usual remarks, ride on the side walk, your gay, gave me the finger and drove off. I caught the s.o.b. at the next light and let him have it. Just when he started threatening to kick my ass, 5/0 rolls up. Turns out he saw and heard 90% of what happened. Told the motorist, who had pulled into a parking lot so he could get out of his car, "sit down *******". Looked at me and said, you can leave, have a nice ride. I could hear him laying into the idiot 1/2 a block away. What a moron. I heart me some St Clair Shores police dept. They dont fool around this is the 5 time they have come to my aid in traffic situations. they rock!

I don't even know where the races are. One of these days I'll check out the group ride from the nearby shop and see how I fare. They've got a faster paced ride.
By the way, we don't have Piggly Wiggly here.

I got my endorphins. I don't have my iPad.
By the way that new version of Adobe Illustrator has some amazing new drawing features which may actually help us in our work. But it may have to wait until I get a new desktop machine. As soon as they refresh that 27" i-Mac, I'll have to go for it. My main machine is nearly 6 years old now (G5 tower). Still works fine.
But it's time.
I'll say this for my business: it won't ever make me rich, but it pays the rent. The cool part is I've always loved Macs and it gives me an excuse to buy any cool Mac crap I want. And of course it's all a write-off. What a country.
By the way, just because Adobe has some cool new features on Illustrator doesn't mean they're not friggin idiots. They are. I'm sure it will continue to annoy the living crap out of us on a daily basis with some of the stupid quirks it has. Don't get me started. My favorite one was the part where it would just spontaneously lose our work. Happened to me and several employees over a couple of versions. I posted about this on an Illustrator online forum and some VP of software development from Adobe emails me. No, I can't replicate the conditions that create this problem, it's totally random I tell him. This means they knew all about it and were trying to figure it out. Doesn't hardly ever do that these days. That really sucked.

Sure is. I ride right up to the edge, the end of Lake Shore Drive and turn around. Most times its a great ride, but every once in a while some one just has to go out of thier way to prove what a complete ass hat they are. Last year, a buddy and I had an issue with a creaton and had to appear in court. he got wreckless driving and anger management on his dime. The best part is he lives right on Jefferson ave and I pass his house every time I take that ride.

It hasn't shipped yet. I'm telling you they are selling the crap out of these things, I ordered it last Sunday. You'll all have one soon. You all have iPods. Let that be your guide. You spend a week with an iPad and you'll want one.
