My cold really got worse. No ride or an easy spin today. I hope I feel up to racing Sunday. This sucks.

Why do you think anyone actually cares? If anyone starts to actually give a shlit, it will undermine the very lack of purpose of the entire thread. The only chance this thread has of surviving is if the apathy that sustains it endures.

Did I ever mention here that I sold a (Motobecane Le Champion w/Ultegra) bike within the past 10 days? Yeah, it had been a source of frustration with months of craigslisting with only scam attempts as a reply. Then a young guy emails me with interest. He and his father meet me in a mall parking lot and they both take it for a spin, then handed me 85% of what I asked for in cash. Persistence pays off. I bought a new camera with part of it, and the rest goes to paying off CC bills.

1. Motobecane
2. A successful sale.
3. Excellent use of money - a.) spending on a camera to stimulate the economy, b.) responsible paying off of debt instead of going to Vegas.
