Bikes: Three road bikes. Two track bikes.
Actually, PRO is buying the best bike you can afford and then doing the rest of your talking with your legs. What you are describing is POSEUR.

IMO "pro" would be making a sustainable living for yourself and any family you may have. And by my definition and what I have learned on BF of typical cyclists salaries/earnings/winnings not many of the people who are paid or given something to ride should be considered 'pro'.

The larger Fujinon binocs run $5k+ and that's before you purchase the tripod (not cheap for a good one). Here's one of their larger models @ $15k -> https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...Binocular.html

V (sorry, some gags will be funny when I am 90 year old - this is one of them!)

900 grams is very light for a CF race frame boys.

Me too. I'm pretty happy with my 23.7 lb. bike rockin' first generation SIS. I dare say I got a lot better bike for the money since I only paid $50. Diminishing returns indeed.

I've seen the pictures and videos of those shattered lightweight race bikes. Is it worth the risk at your age?

Agreed. The justification I use to getting a more expensive bike/component/thingie is everything I have/do has gotten me here and I deserve something cool, lighter, more aero, etc. and I'll buy it just based on that. Retailers love me. Plus, I'm big and I'll take any real or imagined help I can get to scooting up the hills a little faster or easier.

I weigh 170 lbs gringo. Dripping wet. That's not exactly Clydesdale material. Besides which the Addict frame strikes me as fully capable of supporting 200 lb riders on 60 mph descents. It appears to be built like a brick shlithouse, regardless of its feathery weight. It is an impressive bit of CF engineering and design.
