The chainrings are standard sizes and you can swap them around. 130bcd for "standard" and 110bcd for "compact". As long as you get a BB30 crankset then the BB is the same.

Thanks

P.S. What's up with the 50 post minimum to send PMs?

That is a system set in place by BF's admins. It is commonly done to prevent spammers from registering, then blasting spam through PMs. What happens behind-the-scenes: After 50 posts, you will automatically be "promoted" to a different usergroup, which has PM capabilities.

You won't believe how many spambots auto-register on forums like this, and flood the forum with spam. I run a forum (not related to cycling) using the same software, and I'm constantly putting in new blocks to keep the spambots out.

Ah, makes sense I guess. Except... it also potentially floods the forums with a bunch of useless/stupid comments from new users who are just trying to get up to the min 50. I don't suppose a mod or admin might happen by my now 7 posts and see that I'm not a bot and just bump me into that "different" usergroup? ;)

This is the internet, it's pretty much all useless and stupid

You could pay for an Elite membership if you want to bypass the rules. http://www.bikeforums.net/payments.php

An admin (but not a moderator or super-moderator) can easily do this - but probably won't.

What do you think of new team replica colour scheme?[/QUOTE

looks great!

luca la buca 01-31-13 04:45 AM

Yes, I'm tall 192cm and the frame is 63cm. Big frame looks better with higt rim wheels set, but before to spend money for new pair of wheels I wait for sprintime and sun. Now almost every day is grey and whet:(

DGlenday 01-31-13 09:11 AM

Dunno about everyone else. I really like the team replica color scheme but I think its appeal will wear off after a year or two, especially after the team changes its colors.

E tu sei anche in un bel posto di mare! Io sono immerso nella nebbia del Delta del PO!

And you live in a beautiful sea country! Instead I'm sweaming in the fog at Po's Delta :)

Good thing those colors have been standard Cannondale colors for a bit. At the end of the day the bike isn't branded to the team sponsor so it's just a bike with an awesome color scheme. If it had Liquigas logos or Cannondale Pro Cycling then that would be time to upgrade.

news about a possible caad 11 or caad 10 2014?

I would imagine we are about 5-6 months away before we start seeing leaked info on 2014 cannondale.

I agree that the 2012 and 2013 white and green colors are not true team colors. They are similar but not replica colors.

IMHO...

Would look good regardless of what colors the team is sporting.

Its a 10 5 from 2010 according to the Craigslist ad. I got it for a steal. It was completely stock, and I really don't like shimano, so I pulled the force off my other bike. Its a super nice ride.

CAAD9s were last produced in 2010 and then the CAAD10s were released the following year. Your frame's from the debut year, as with the gloss white and black and the white and dark red. :)

This is either a representation of how badly Cannondale did on 2013's paint jobs or how loyal its CAAD fanbase is, lol

Upilu 02-01-13 03:36 AM

take that!

2013 look's good but my eyes get fixated on that Big 10 on the top tube, I don't know if i like it and I'm on the verge of purchasing my 1'st CAAD. Buy this or wait for the 2014 models ?

Anyone take their CAAD10 on gravel?

I really don't want to, but unless I want to ride the same roads every day, I'll have to hit some gravel at some point out here in the country. At least while I'm at college, at home I have no such issues with gravel. Any tips for gravel riding and protecting my investment (bike)?

I've been reading up on it where I can, just figured I'd ask the Cult of CAAD.

You can get some lizard skins to protect your down tube.
