Not unless you are trading them in on a CAAD. Get off our grass (wait that is 50+)

Does anyone know the setback on the stock C3 seatpost. I am away for the week and want to order a new seatpost.

Either getting the Thomson or Ritchey carbon.

My first build (ever)

Here is a link to my Cannondale CAAD 8 photo gallery.

And just for fun, here's a photo from the gallery.

CAAD10 Liquigas Replica

Finally returning to the cult after a 3-month hiatus. My 2011 CAAD10-3 was damaged beyond repair a few months ago, so I got a new CAAD10 frame via Cannondale's crash replacement policy through the LBS. All the undamaged components were swapped over; RD and chain are brand new. After the long wait, here it is. 2012 CAAD10 Liquigas Replica frame with Shimano RS80 wheels.

^ Nice!

Finally able to join the cult. Saw a full Chorus 11 CAAD9 with Fulcrum 1's off eBay for a ridiculously good price and couldn't resist. Pics when it arrives later this week.

As previously mentioned, bike arrived today

luckasaaron 06-13-12 07:25 AM

You said you got a sweet deal, what'd you pay for it?

Nice bike!

3kmi 06-13-12 07:34 AM

1500 for everything pictured except the pedals which I already had

Ultraslide 06-13-12 08:22 AM

Looks really good. I love the white Caad 9s, esp with Campy.
Good score!

Damnit, I went in to my LBS today to hopefully buy a black CAAD10 3 and they report ZERO black CAAD10 3's available to order from Cannondale :( Told me I'll have to wait until August/September to order a 2013 CAAD10.

alexaschwanden 06-15-12 05:51 PM

^Nice cannondale.

Don't think I have a pic of my CAAD9 on this thread.

Full Rival
3T cockpit
Fulcrum Racing 3 wheel set
Toupe saddle
Stock seat post and fork, would love a recommendation on a fork swap.
Not slammed yet but I have shifted 3 spacers above stem.

Welp, I ended up finding out that REI had a white/red CAAD10 3 in stock (my LBS doesnt stock 10-3's) and went to check it out (having not liked the colors from the online picture on cdale's site) but really liked it in person. Went over to my LBS and bought one, they said I should have it in my hands by Wednesday/Thursday!

Here's my CAAD9, I'm rediscovering how much I like this bike now that I'm taking a long break from Tri training due to injury (no running for a long while)

-I decided to get ridiculous and pull the 90mm rear from my Tri bike, here it is in a 90/50mm combo

Sorry about the cell pic

This, they can order them, they just don't keep them on the store floor. REI had one, but LBS > REI.

After about a year of reading, researching, lurking the forums, test riding and trying to find best deal on a first road bike I bid and won this baby from ebay. Seller is from UT and I just sent payment today, can't wait till she gets here!

I'm such a noob with this roadie stuff too. I can tell you anything about hockey equipment and what's good/what's not but with bicycle stuff I'm in the dark. This has a Fizik Arione Saddle, cateye and 3t seat post, and some 3t bars. idk if that's good or bad but I bought the bike because how much I enjoyed the test rides on the ones at the LBS. Need pedals and a bucket cause safety first. Anyway I'm pumped and nervous at the same time cause there's so much for me to learn but I'm ready to learn and ready to finally start riding. (sry this is long winded, just excited)

Pinkbullet3 06-18-12 06:37 PM

What kind of bucket are you looking at getting?

Pajamas 06-18-12 08:18 PM

Question for the gurus, coming from someone soon to join the fold.

Am I better off getting the 10-5 and upgrading the wheels or the 10-3 and leaving it stock? This will be my first road bike, but I'm already an avid cyclist and I expect to progress quickly. Opinions are appreciated!

(side note, anyone from Canada know if the salespeople at sporting life are commissioned? They denied it but I definitely got the impression..)

I have no idea lol, something affordable that protects and something that has mad airflow cause down south here it is hottt! Any suggestions are appreciated though. My hockey buddy who's been nagging me to get a bike a ride the past year; come to find out he doesn't even wear a bucket. I was like wha...! Coming from a motorcycle and these insane drivers in SWFL I'm def getting some cover.
