Hmm sounds pretty convincing. I might have to try them out. I would really hate to lose a bottle during a crit or road race though. Mandibles grip TIGHT, maybe even excessively so, but it is reassuring.

The ones Bianchi have are a little different than the ones I linked to, his are a couple bucks cheaper but I think his came direct from China, I'll let him answer that. The ones from the guy in New Jersey are still China made but they got here in three days and I have no issues with them. Now a really good second option I use, and if weight is no biggie the Lezyne flow cages are great, they hold the bottles really snug but come in at 44g each...

The second question mark is obviously photoshopped

the reflex is dued to the door near the bike! It was sunny when I done the photo!

Use this site if you don't believe me:

That does appear to be a reflection and the shadows match.

But upilu, you can't blame anyone for questioning your photos.

How do we know you didn't just photoshop that website?

Correct, mine were from China. Got them in a week. To be honest, I was not very patient while researching. I purchased them and later looked to see where they were coming from. If I had to do it again, I would but if I could find the same or very similar ones from US, I would do that.

AHH I was just looking at your bike over at WW! I was going to save your picture and send it to a member on this forum who doesn't think his bike would look as good with white saddle and bartape. nice bike man!

Awesome build! I've got a NOS CAAD9 frame in the same color stashed away in case I wreck my CAAD10 or Cervelo. IMHO, it would look better with a less-chunky stem, and perhaps a saddle with some white on it to balance out the hoods, like this:

The EC90 stem is really nice though, plus it matches the theme. And I've already swapped out the seat for one with some white in it.

why didn't you also go with EC90 bars?

I prefer aluminum bars, plus I like the bend on the EA70's. And they aren't really costing me that much weight, if any.

If I'm not mistaken the ec70 is 270g. Ec90 is199. That's a worthy difference to a weight wennie ;) obviously doesn't change performance though

Very very nice. How does the bar tape do at staying clean? The Hollowgrams just complete any Cannondale. Beautiful. This picture has convinced me to seek out a white saddle/bar tape.

They are in fact the exact mold of a zipp cage. Only these weigh 19g and the zipps weigh something like 40g each! oh.......and are $50 or more

gadabout007 03-01-13 08:31 AM

:wtf:

lol give or take 50%... zipp's claimed weight is 21g

I stand corrected. I thought for certain I had read somewhere they were 40g. Thanks

gadabout007 03-01-13 09:22 AM

you are 100% correct about them being overpriced!
