Still needs a saddle, bottle cages are in the mail, needs wider bars, cut the steerer, but this thing is fun. Heavy as ****, but fun.

Got back Monday from riding with my brother in the mountains around lynchburg, va this weekend. Ive had my caad9 for a little less than two weeks now and I'm in love. It was my first time away from flat eastern nc and I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was able to do up there. That bike rides like a dream and helped me keep up with him on his caad10.
Still no pics though because I'm too dumb to bring my phone with me to take pictures in some of the pretty places we rode. Maybe I can get out for a ride around here this weekend if this hurricane doesn't make the roads too messy. |

Thanks for the heads up man, and I will be honest in saying I am not educatd on the subject. I have seen some really nice PC jobs done on bikes but I would hate for mine to be the mishap. You have me nervous now, I was really considering pulling the trigger on a PC job in the next week or two.
Thinking about it, I may give plasti dipping a try on the rear triangle... I feel like thats pretty safe from being rubbed off :p |
And since it's not paint it won't void any warranty :D
|
But it will add weight :p

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=390696 I've been following this thread for some time now and checking my local Craigslist regularly. We'll the stars aligned for me last weekend and my wife gave my the go ahead to buy. So far I'm loving it! It's definitely as smooth of a ride as everyone claims. Now time to get my engine in shape. It wasn't in perfect condition. Couple scratches from being in garage leaned up against car. Otherwise it was brand new and never rode. Paid $1600.

I was on my 2013 Black Inc. and saw this bike in Prospect Park, Brooklyn on Sunday. It is a really nice bike, even more so in person.

Moar 20-1-5 Pictures http://fcdn.roadbikereview.com/attac...88117475_n.jpg O MA GAAAA, I LOVE the black and green synapse. http://fcdn.roadbikereview.com/attac...36020166_n.jpg Also, does anybody know whether or not this is possible. Bike A came with disc brakes. Bike B came with Rim brakes. You take only the frame from Bike A and use all the components from Bike B. Or are disc braked bikes have a special designed frame. |
Does anybody recomend a cadd dealer near the chicagoland area? Im looking to sell mt TCR and get an Evo but the LBS does carry any in stock to look at and test out.

@TS maybe you can help me with something. What are the difference between the two photos? Are the top the colors for the aluminium synapse while the middle are for the carbons? Or are some for the synapse 5 while the others are for synapse 6. To my understanding the frames of the synapse 6/5/4/3 are exactly the same exact in colorways.

Wow. Unless each color is reserved for Synapse 6/5/4/3. Anybody have any idea whether the rim brake versions will be identical in color with their disc brake counterparts or are rim brake synapses being phased out. |
