Hey. New here. Wanted to share this. CAAD10 2014 60cm. Just finished the other day.
You can see most of the spec. Few things to note: Open Pro Ceramic rims, King Ti cages, Dura Ace pedals with +4mm axle option, and XTR skewers. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5504/...5cb3eba4_b.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3882/...d76c6842_b.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3851/...acb718e4_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2929/...0d79cb4c_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2927/...b3559c56_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2920/...5a49303e_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2915/...c528804b_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5237/...f3fa56ef_b.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3893/...9998e7f1_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2917/...1a057f4c_b.jpg oh you fancy |

Still liking this? :D
Its getting road rubber (28c Gatorskins) in the next couple days, just in time for a week of rain; Clement gravel rubber coming as well. The first gravel ride is 8/9, another on 8/16 as well. I've only ridden it once since I picked it up, lol. Hey, it's road bike season. This one will get some action when the weather turns sour and when the gravel calls, then I'll know if I "like it". |
Just picked up my new 2014 Cannondale Evo Ultegra Racings Edtion to replace my TCR. Will be posting pics when I get home.:)

Local Craigslist ad for a CAAD10 - NOT MINE
This is the bike that needs no introduction! I have for sale a lightly used (about 5000 miles) CAAD10 in the classic BBQ paint finish. Outside of a few chips in the paint, this frame is in fantastic condition. It includes the frame, fork, derailleur hanger (with extras), seat clamp, head-set and a new cable guide under the bottom bracket. What it doesn't include is a conical spacer for the headset which you will need to source from your local dealer. I have knocked $25 off my original asking price to balance out this expense. In many cases, your local shop might even give you this for free. (edit - the scratches you see in the pictures are on the seat-stays & the chain-stays NOT the top-tube.) Now, for those of you that don't know about the CAAD10, let me take a second to tell you about this cult classic. The CAAD10 is the last bastion of aluminum road bikes, a frame so stiff and so light that it is coveted by even top level amateur bike racers. The CAAD10 is the last soldier, standing among the dead, defeated army of high performance aluminum road bikes. It waves it's **** in the air, firing it erratically, with wild eyes screaming "come at me bro" to the waves of carbon fiber frames bearing down upon it. The CAAD10 doesn't need your praise, it doesn't want your accolades. It's the one-eyed, salty old sailor, sitting in the corner of the dive bar drinking rye whiskey with his 1000 yard stare. It only asks that you take it, build it and ride the **** out of it. It begs you to enter that crit and thread that needle through the pack. To go for that $20 prime, drooling on the top tube till your heart is close to explosion. It whispers in your ear, "hey bud, see that gravel road over there with the watch for bears warning sign? Let's ride down that!" The CAAD10 was forged in the fires of Mordor. It was enginered by Ozzy Osbourne, Bernard Hinault and Jean-Claude Van Damme during a all night potato vodka fueled Kumite in the mid 80's. Finally, it was painted by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol while a young and perplexed KBG operative by the name of Vladimir Putin watched on in awe. The CAAD10 just doesn't give a ****, but it's not happy sitting in my living room. It's irritated and hostile not being put through it's paces. I'm truly worried that if I don't give this to a worthy rider who will give it purpose, it will kill me in my sleep. Also, did I say it was matte-black too? |

There is a guy in my area selling a 2011 10-4 and wants $1500 FIRM. It has been there for about eight months and he still is saying FIRM. It's as if he doesn't realise the 2015 models are right around the corner. Heck my LBS has the 2014 10-4 for just $150 more than he is asking for is 2011. |

sure that's not you Gary? I got a good laugh out of it. Peopla on CL are really funny and some are just not realistic when pricing their items.

That's pretty funny, considering I paid $1700 for my 2011 10-4 back in April 2011.

Now that you mention it, I think he is even wrong about the bike. I looked up the 2011 10-4 and it showed it in two colors, one was White/Blue and the other one was Black/White. The bike this guy has listed is Black....all black, but it has the same component group as the other two 10-4 models from that year. Did they make it in three colors in 2011?

I don't know. My LBS only had the 10-4 in White/Blue, which is what I have. As far as I know there was no all black option that year...thought that came in 2012?

Hey guys. Im thinking of changing/upgrading my CAAD10 from ultegra 6700 to SRAM Force 22. My question is do you guys think its worth it?
(I am running an ultegra chainset with a bb30 to BSA adaptor which Im not massively keen on) |
