I'd probably talk with them and see what the hold up is. If it really is taking too long, and they acknowledge this, I would try and get them to throw something in (maybe a set of pedals or something). Who knows, maybe they will receive it tomorrow...
Just my .02.

D) Request a refund OR tell them to loan you a bike "risk free" until your CAAD comes in and insist that they get you a C10 ASAP.
I think that's the fairest way to go about it to both parties. CAAD10's are extremely popular and with every Magazine article that comes out, they only get more and more desirable. It's part of the price paid for great aluminum. If you go with my suggestion, let me know how it goes. |

Im thinking some Arundel bottle cages ;)
That is really instinctively what I would like to do but I am certain that if I do that I will just be waiting even longer for a bike.... The white was available should i just say F it and get the white one with that ugly blue sparkley paint(no offense to any white CAAD 10 owners) http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1301516743 B) For me, the White is a really nice color on a CAAD10. Personally, I'm not too fond of the "cover-up" paint on the stays myself (since "Made In USA" can't be printed there anymore ;) ), but you can always touch-up/paint over whatever you don't like on your particular bike. However, I would not get "whatever" color is in stock just to get riding a week or two earlier. No matter what, eventually, that other bike is going to come in and when it does, if you're on a color you didn't initially want that hasn't grown on you, you're stuck with it. My advice, get EXACTLY what you want. You paid for it. And keep in mind that you're going to end up with a hot bike regardless. |
posting that picture was just plain rude :/ (envy)

Anyone else have problems with the rear brake cable on the CAAD10 rubbing on the inside of their left leg? The cable itself mounts slightly to the left of the top tube and the cable was placed on the outside of the seat stay by the bike store, I have since rerouted it between the seat stays to see if the solves the problem.

Hello everyone and thanks for all the great info here on the forums. Its been an invaluable aid in my search for my first road bike. I've been riding fixed gear for the past 3 years, so this is all new to me. But after a ton of test rides and hours at shops, I am finally a proud owner of a CAAD10 4. Its such a quick and responsive bike! I'm looking forward to putting it to some good use in spring tris and longer rides.
Again, thanks everyone for the great info. Cheers to you all! |

Just put some Williams 30s on mine :)
Williams is on my "list" for carbon wheels someday. How do you like those 30's? |
the fork is 600g. I weighed mine while building it up and another guy on this frame had roughly the same weight.
$750 frameset the specialized is only $350, but id pay the extra $400 for 500g difference.....Cant wait to ride a Cannondale again. |

My Edge 1.0 is coming in at about 275g. :D For the price, I don't think anybody can do better for that Spec. Supposedly a really nice frame and for only $350? I think that's a great value. Not that I'd give up my CAAD (or any CAAD) for it. But it's nice. |
