I spent 3 months waiting for an email from him and then filled out a second form 2 months ago and still nothing. Must be nice to be that far backlogged. Carbon wheels are not quite at the level that they can be used an everyday wheel at the moment anyways. If he finds me in the pile and I have the cash I may still see what a set of aluminum tubulars would run. Speaking of wheelbuilding, I am considering building a jig and trying my hand at rebuilding my 27" rims with a more modern hub to use in the Winter.

Campagnolo drivetrain maybe. I seem to remember a custom run of tires or something for these special edition Cervelos. The green tri or tt one sticks in my mind.
Edit: It was tires and they are for a newer model Thor Bike and in green.

I do prefer KCNC brakes, and a Lightning crank however. That's what I have on it now. This pic was all Red, except the chain, and big chain ring. I still use the shifters, derailleurs, and cassette. I run the rest of it on the Trek, with Force now. Definitely love SRAM stuff. BTW, there was nothing wrong with the brakes or crank, the new stuff is just lighter is all.

I am surprised that they hold up to that much high elevation sun and descending. I would have figured the Eurus held that distinction for obvious reasons. Being so close to the windy city I ride in crosswinds too much to consider something that deep. I am seriously considering finding and older pair of Nucleons or Protons for really windy days.

what size cassette are you running? i'm torn between getting an 11-23 or 11-25!? its mostly flat around here, except that i've had to use my 39/25 combo on a few rare occasions! hmmmm...
i currently have DA7900 on my S2 and love it, but i've never tried RED, and why not try something different, hahahaha!!! i hope i'm not making a mistake....

Facepalm worthy moment of the night:
I met someone at the gym who told me he bought his bike with a compact because of one of the bridges he has to cross here.
Then he said he's the owner of one of the LBS's.

Hey coasting,
Do they have any shows that feature "extreme" coupon shoppers in the UK?
I'm watching one now--it's quite fascinating. This woman stockpiles thousands of dollars of inventory in her house. She fills her kids' closets with Cheerios, toilet paper, and canned goods. On one shopping trip she broke up her shopping carts into 18 separate purchase transactions to harness the maximum strength of her coupons.

Maybe you can watch some clips online

A woman has special rotating shelving in her house so none of her stockpile expires.

that takes a special talent. bars on a bike that is a bit short, I can understand, but stem. that definatly is special.

I missed a nearly new GT MTB on the local Craigslist today. I am a very big fan of the old triple triangle GT's and cried when they went out of business. The irony, at nearly the same minute that it was posted I noticed that the merry go round I was putting together was made by Pacific Cycle. F Pacific effing Cycle and their merry go round with what used to some of the best US made bike brands.
I bought my brother a brand new GT full suspension for his birthday, pre 2000, and ended up replacing the drivetrain because I rode it so much. The last year or so I have been in full on hunting mode for another one and nearly bought either a hardtail or a road bike to lessen the urges. My brothers GT was by far the best bike I have ever ridden and I will own another sometime soon.
