Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Awww, VG. I don't envy you one bit.

(note to self: stick to regular ol' round seatposts with regular ol' heads.)

Heck, it takes me at least a month to get my saddle just right with a standard setup. Got in a HUGE fight with a roommate that borrowed my bike once not so much cuz she borrowed it but that she moved the saddle!

I've never been happier since I've started keeping fish. Now if I could just figure out how to keep aquatic plants. I have a black thumb when it comes to them.

Yeah I have a sweet day pack that had a couple tubes, toolkit, pump, food, camelbak of water. The only thing I forgot was a lighter and flashlight (mounts to my handlebars).

While we are on stereotypes, your bike doesn't need juju, stuffed animals, co-pilots, trolls, gnomes, action figures, lame stickers, clamp-on bars, or to be washed nearly as often as a road bike.

You guys are cracking me up. To be honest all I need is an apple. All naturale.

Glad you enjoyed the Moto's maiden voyage! I think I'd have gone a size down if I were you but should work out fine.

I imagine there are tons of killer trails in your vicinity.

Given your propensity for loose clothing and love of nature you may have been meant to be a mountain biker. You could instruct people you meet on the trails.

Man, I'll never forget NAU Geology class field trip to the Grand Canyon. We got to the south rim, setup camp up top for the night and it got really cold, we actually got some flurries overnight. The dudes told everyone to bring enough water for the hike, but a couple of chicks figured it wasn't hot enough to be needing that much water. Later that afternoon it got up over 100° while we're hiking back out and those girls are HATING it! I shared my water with them so they could make it out alive but man o man they were just on the verge.
