I really miss the Chapelle Show. They don't make good TV, like that anymore.

I passed by the Thursday night group ride earlier on my way to the gas station
I hope I am back to doing these group rides by the end of next month. I dont want to push it too hard and take a step backward as far as my back is concerned. I need to worry about somewhat building back up to where I was at first.

so the practice crit was slow today because a break got away, but the womans world champion showed up and she ended up spending a lot of time near a smo like me. (she is just tuning up for the big race in philly this weekend, but still pretty awesome) When I first saw her I figured maybe a world champion for some obscure event like a specifc age group track event, but nope just the freakin 2011 world road race champ. She was super smooth.

PS When a pro team vehicle pulls into your local practice crit and unloads a few people it feels a little weird
garmin (slowish due to a bit of wind and the break stayed away)

Went out for a nice dinner with some of my family. Lobster Bisque, filet, chocolate cake, and some beer from a local brewery. Doesn't get much better.

Local pizza joint and a stroll by the lake with my girl.

I used to go when I lived in Delaware. We'd start out on the Parkway and work our way out to the art museum and Lemon Hill.

Got a flat on my ride last night. However, two guys on bikes stopped to see if I needed help and we ended up riding together for a while. Small groups are way more fun than solo rides. And a not fully inflated rear tire is not really that much fun to ride on.

Three is too many.
Two is a lot.
One 'n a half is just right.
