Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I had no idea it was so easy.

Vol - are you taking notes? Here's the answer to all your female problems.

To be sure this entire line of reasoning was to distract from gnome pointing out that in France a randonneuse is still a female who partakes in randonneuring. I think I ended up confusing VV more than distracting gnome.

Here is something that could not only haul some lunch, but haul some females, as well.

Can you pull off being distinguished to the point of having curiously attractive eccentricities?

Probably not enough to distract from riding a bonecrusher.

My only shot at attracting females is to go the 2manybikes route and have them fall for Bailey.

None, Rando. Brevet season starts a week from tomorrow. 50-80 mile days are the norm on the weekends. Hills on Saturday, less hilly on Sunday.

Not really trying for that title, sbxx. 8 straight weeks of 200K or more, certainly won't hurt.

LAJ hadn't been posting much here lately so I thought he might become ineligible.

He wouldn't bust a move on vBall girl so three-way picnic is most likely a no go.

Is it possible that she was looking for the threesome?

Hmm... It is possible for vBear to test this theory, but first he will need a picnic basket.

I would suggest acquiring one lady friend before he attempts two or purchases a picnic basket. That's the normal progression of things.

But who knows? Vol might be an overachiever.

Hmm. I decided to keep my triple a couple weeks ago after climbing a really, really gnarly hill that I wouldn't be able to climb with a 50/39. But I think this is an even more compelling argument.

There is never an argument for having a triple.
