Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I say lose 'em, but I'm not into the billboard look. And it never ceases to amuse me how much people will pay to advertise for somebody else.

On a practical note, keeping the decals would minimize the number of times someone asks you how you like your $500 carbon wheels.

I don't understand why people say its advertising for somebody...maybe it is, maybe its not. But this is a sport where the person rides in clothes covered in ads...

If you buy dodge...does it not come with dodge badges, same with any other car? A lot of our clothes come with little logos that clearly distinguish it. Granted some are gaudier than others but none the less, its still advertising. Zipp has a nice logo and it looks good on their wheels. your bike has white and it ties in the blackness of the wheels well to the rest of the frame.

Depends. If the backdrop is your house, 50/50 for removal.
If it is a coffee shop, then leave them on.
