Even if they are original to the bike, I think just some more classic and matching looking parts (ie. anything silvery from velo-orange) would make the bike look a lot better.
It will get converted to a city bike later, with tourist bars and hammered fenders at some point. Then it will get shiny stem and seatpost as well as a big old leather saddle, like a Brooks B67. |

The silvery crank came from Velo-Orange :). The budget I set for the bike maxed out before I got around to the stem and seatpost, so they are what they are for now.

ugly. here is why:
1. Two lunchboxes on the bike 2. saddle looks tilted down 3. plastic jockstraps where pedals should be 4. whatever looking frame 5. apparently the cassette works in a coal mine and does not bathe 6. nice pump and bottle...and the leaf is a nice touch. 7. small-smaller combination 8. nice baby stem and saddle slammed forward |

the frame bag in the front holds my wallet, phone, keys and the rear saddle bag holds spare tubes, levers, Swiss army knife, patches, and a pair of gloves. the seat is fine as it is, the dont have money right now for expensive clipless pedals and shoes. the stem works for me , i am not a very tall person.those black stripes in the back are in 500 mile increments.
