Our team changed shop/bike sponsors which meant moving away from caad 10 framesets. The shop had a comparison of the TCR frame to the Caad 10 frame in a number of stiffness tests and I think weight. As I recall the giant won almost all the categories.
The Giant lacks BF cred though. |

I just read the last 30 pages to catch up. I need a shower now... I feel so dirty.
1) Pcad is always riding to the extreme and will get hit with on aliment or another. 2) Jen is always on missing. 3) Solo is providing a world of entrainment from love to light weights bikes. No need to read anymore but this is good clean fun. |
It seems that it is taking them for ever to release 9070?
Here is a video about it http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/a...e-video-35995/ |
BTW, this is the optimum order of priorities in womenz evaluation and selection. 'Looks' is NEVER first!! In fact many times it works well being the very last in importance.

Giant makes good mass production bikes nothing wrong with Giant; do they offer full carbon (not heavy) with 105 for $1,300 +/-?

Then I go back to my original comment that at $1,300 price point Cad 10 105 is the way to go.

(Sorry to those folks who have seen this before and are growing tired of it.) I took this photo the night that I met her. (None of the above criteria made me cross the room to meet her.) http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/a...Untitled-6.jpg |

it always amazes me when fit active people get the same problems that inactive people get. thanks for the suggestion. I did have blocked arteries but it is all good for now and i'm living a reasonably healthy lifestyle. i've seen a number of people on bf get hit by heart issues when they are so fit. the world ain't fair.
What's weird is it's like starting up the system. Once I get going, while HR is low, it's fine. I have no symptoms like faintness. But my recovery rate always gets the doc's attention, and it's not like I am uberfit like I was racing. The system shuts down and HR decreases rapidly, but again no issues. I am on a cycle every six months for a check up. Just need to stay on top of it. |

So this circulation issue in my ankle in my right leg that had the blood clot a year ago appears to be a potential chronic issue to some extent. This hot spot down there turns into a tiny wound. That's another venous stasis (medical lingo for static veins, or veins that aren't returning blood flow to the heart properly, the blood pools and eventually the veins can ulcerate through the skin) wound. But this one is really tiny. Very painful. I had a MUCH larger one over the summer that was treated improperly and became a total clusterfark.
This time around I take the stuff my wound treatment guy gave me and dress up this tiny wound. Within an hour it stops hurting. I'm confident this will heal within a week. What a difference having the right medical treatment makes, the last time I had this issue it turned into a 12 week ordeal replete with multiple doctor visits and pain meds. I do think that this condition will ease by summer, it appears to be steadily improving. This is another manifestation of this condition, but it's 1/10 the size of the last wound that appeared 6 months ago. The circulation in that leg is actually very good, this is a relatively minor issue in a small spot on my inner ankle that is getting better. They say weight loss helps with this, and I am losing weight. At least my heart is healthy. Man heart issues suck. I have to pay attention to circulation, especially in my legs due to the low HR, so I take stuff to make sure everything keeps moving. Since you said it was not heart related, I am guessing it was not circualtory like I have. |

You guys are absolutely incorrect about online dating. I met the current Mrs BillyD online, and she is the best thing that ever entered my life. She's got brains, looks, a sense of humor, and can cook like a chef - the whole package. An absolute winner . . . I should have met her 25 years ago, would have saved myself a lot of grief.
And she's not the only one, there's a couple others I sifted through because I wasn't ready to get serious too soon, but they were well qualified in all the important areas. You could do a lot worse than online dating. Sure, you have to be patient and filter through a lot of losers, but the gold nuggets are there for the taking. And wtf, the filtering process isn't so bad either if you know what you're doing. Maybe I should set up a class - Online Date Filtering 101. |

I will remain a lonely curmudgeon before even considering the thought of online dating. It may as well be a blind date in a world where time machines do not exist. Oh wait, they don't - only online would anyone think even a 5 year old picture would suffice. Especially when we reach that certain age.
As an example, I am really not a knight as my avatar might suggest. |
