it's the new build pic from yore when i was a real cyclist. drivetrain pics are so shiny when new. alas they are never again so shiny.
|
speaking of platforms, i wish ihad bough the shimano pedals that are 2 sided with spd on one side and platform on the other side. i got the wellgo platforms because i didn't think i would need them for long and would be switching back to the spd sl before long but its clear that stopping and walking is far too common in taipei because of the crowding and the crazy traffic that i should invest in an spd system.

I think you can get them inexpensively enough.
Are you in Taiwan or UK these days?? I thought you moved back to Limeyville... |

Yeah, lots of my pics are when the bikes were new too. They get grimy throughout the year as they should be. They all need a good cleaning sometime this winter. Since a couple of them need new cables, i'm taking them down to the bare frames. I even recently got an ultrasonic cleaner for the chains and cassettes. Yes, I'm OCD. Muuwaaahhaaaahaaaahaaaa!!!

I think I said it right. It's been awhile since I took mandarin in university. p.s. maybe your cyclist friend can give you some "private lessons." |
