Congrats VeloVol. All of Tennessee's problems are solved now. :p He's going to have to be a much better recruiter than he has been thus far to survive this meat grider, that much is clear. Also painfully obvious: the UTAD management is a $100 million facepalm. http://tonybasilio.com/index.php?page=tony |
LC, dude. What kind of rock did you step on? That's brutal. Get ye to a foot bath and soak in epsom salts. May not be the advice a doc would give, but it sure helped me when my ankle was wrecked like that.

reading this thread this morning has been like turning the tuner knob on the hi-fi through the entire frequency band in my head.
i'm pleased it has landed on the staticky college pirate radio station that's playing the dead kennedys. however... blech. don't think i could eat snakes while on a holiday in cambodia. |

So my wife scheduled a museum trip with my SIL (my brother's wife) and niece. My SIL is a way conservative, which isn't so much a problem, but the that fact that she's outspoken about it and that her understanding is only parroting-talking-points deep is annoying. Anywho, my wife just realized that she scheduled the trip for a day that she has to work (and I obviously don't), which means that I may not have a graceful way of backing out of an engagement that'll be at least a couple hours long and with no buffer between the SIL and I. I'm going to contemplate throwing myself down a short flight of stairs in the hopes that I'll bruise up like LC's ankle so that I might bow out.
This may or may not be a good idea, depending on what is curated in the museum. |
