What kind of abominations are you riding with?

I've ridden with a lot of women and I've NEVER EVER seen one fire off a snot rocket.

Ugh... it made me throw up in my mouth a little just thinking about it...

Why can't I get a 13-28 cassette?

I've seen it. It did make me a little sick. And she wasn't hot. Kind of old and wrinkly, really. So was her snot. Eeewww.

I don't know, it was a club group ride and I didn't ask for references when I latched onto them in the first mile. They were riding at a good pace, and she was hot. We were taking turns pulling, so it wasn't like she was annoyed that I was sucking her wheel and she couldn't ride me off. :lol:

Slow leaking innertubes, gluing patches on tubes.

I love patching tubes. I find it very satisfying, and a properly patched tube is as good as a new one.

13-28 cassettes are for sissies.

BTW, my pet peeve is people taking needless potshots at other posters.

Agree - there is satisfaction knowing you have saved the life of a tube.

2 weeks of ice & snow, 6 mos. of sand, gravel & dust.

getting the bike back from the lbs with 'mysterious' new nicks/scratches in the paint.

Mismatched inner tubes and tires. On my bikes they need to match, I'll replace them in pairs before I ride with them mismatched...and that includes the valve caps.

People who race crits without a basic knowledge of a proper racing line.

Having your tire boot fail by a thorn and popping your tube in two seconds, so i put a second boot on top of that one.

people that show up to group rides with a replacement tube that is PATCHED and proceed to have multiple flats.

More senseless abuse of the English language.

It seems every pundit, newscaster, or person being interviewed for more than two minutes ultimately begin sentences with 'So.' Rarely, if EVER, should the word 'so' begin with a capital letter. And, But, and Or have already fallen victim to this abuse - what will be next?

Dude on CNBC this morning began every single sentence with "So,..." I had to mute the TV.

People who mix up homophones (there/their/they're; here/hear...) and the use of letters or numbers as words they sound like (u, r, ne, w8...).

Stupid mid-week snowstorms, again.
