Wrong, there is nothing but coincidence. The utter randomness of life is the driving force of evolution. You do believe in evolution right? Or , as the Pope, are you of the creationist bent.
What makes the impression of meaning in seemingly random events is simply our inability to accept randomness as the driving force of nature, we need to attach meaning where there is none.

Must really like there baseball out there. I remember those great sand lot, back yard, summer evening, after school, before dinner, after dinner, in the rain base ball games we had as kids, no parents around, no coaches, no rules except what we made up, no uniforms, just a bunch of kids, a ball and a bat having a great time.

Cactus league is a big deal! Luckily the first game on the big field there is Saturday. Angels vs. Giants. Should be melted and dry by then...

A bit of SA Obviously wore off on you. Not sure if that's good or bad...

Herbie53 02-20-13 07:16 PM

Speaking of SA kittens, I went kitten shopping today. I was advised to just wait, the black kittens are way overpriced right now.

I wish I could have seen that coming, it could have been better than Apple stock.

LesterOfPuppets 02-20-13 07:17 PM

Are chrome kittens a good deal?

Pretty much any kitten is in higher demand right now, but any that look like they might be subject to future animal control laws are especially over priced. I have all the kittens I need, I just wanted one because I do not like being told I cannot have one... it's just how I am.

I inherited three kittens from my dad a few days ago. Can't wait to take them out and pet them for a little while. I now have seven short one handed kittens.

AK404 02-20-13 07:26 PM

...one-handed kittens?

On a random note, I got promoted at work with a pay raise. That's the good news. The bad news is that I have to be at work at 5AM sharp, which is one of the many reasons that I haven't been around lately. Work is only six miles away, but Michigan being Michigan, the weather's been a bit...Michigan lately.

Did I ever mention that I don't own a car and have been riding a bike to work for the last 18 years?

RollCNY 02-20-13 07:29 PM

I took my 12 year old out to look at kittens on Sunday. There were local boat and car shows, but I don't want a car or boat, so he and I decided to go to every pet store we could find and look at birds, lizards, dogs, kittens, fish, and most importantly ferrets. We had a good time, and by unanimous decision, the cut throat finch was the coolest new animal discovered (obviously others had previously discovered but it was new to us).

datlas 02-20-13 07:44 PM

Wait. Are you talking about kittens or kittens??

rjones28 02-20-13 07:47 PM

Are you still speaking in code?

BillyD 02-20-13 07:54 PM

Kittens are fine. They can be a lot of fun at the kitten range.

But it's those big, military-style kittens that have to go. :)
