By the way, is SF the bestest city to live in the whole wide world? Everyone I meet who lives there says it is and that goes for people originaly from there and those who moved there. My cousin in law moved there from Ireland and ms coastings parents moved there and they think it is the best. ms coasting is there visiting and is all enthusiastic.

Got some miles in despite the amount of snow.

Maybe. Until the ground shakes. Then, not so much.

Also, their football team sucks.

Stephania's terrible 49ers.

17 mi on the MTB today, high winds, snowpack on the road from drifting snow all over the place. Couldn't have ridden the road bike, but the MTB handles all that crap. Better part of two hours. Slow, but a good workout. Again with the MTB tomorrow. Hope I can get back on the road bike next week.

I saw on the news there is some kind of serious snow situation on the east coast. How comes you people are still riding outside?

Dannihilator 02-09-13 07:31 PM

Here, it didn't pan out to what they said it was going to be, roads are pretty much passable here.

Western NC is great for cycling, not that that would be of much interest to you.

SF is reputed to have the worst traffic snarls, and even though we skirted the city mid-afternoon, I can understand the reputation. And you either have to be a computer geek or a hipster to live there, don't you?

And let's not even get into the 60s and 70s.

SF is too expensive for me. Almost NYC expensive.

I heard about that too.

Two feet in Rhode Island, where my dad lives. Also, no power. :(

The best acts in music are when performers smash their guitars on something. It's a good start.

LesterOfPuppets 02-09-13 09:25 PM

Ugggh. I have to use Inkscape tonight.

Didn't you say they'd be on or around something called tracks?

No one here will even answer my question about the Buddhist temple. If Velo Vol wants anything done, looks like Velo Vol has to do it himself.
