I am now standing on the outside looking in. Apparently, this is something funny to everyone but me. She's pointing out that it's because I haven't seen the movie. The rental was 2 weeks overdue, and I never saw the whole movie. I did like that other movie, the Australian driving doco.

Cool. When I worked in Malibu I met a lot of people that would say things like "my cousin's gardener worked for Brad Pitt's hairdresser". Your trivia is slightly more meaningful. Don't get me started on that wildlife doco. Rowan almost got sucked in on that one.

I hinted at the wildlife and driving doco's the other day, but you didn't bite.

Part of Mad Max was shot along Kororoit Creek Rd., about 10kms from my joint. The funny thing is, is that it's still a sh¡thole, albeit now a sh¡thole with a bike lane.
Hitchy, you'll be proud to read that they did a 'test' on the 486 on cyclingnews.com just now. Tell me you didn't pay USD3,199 for the frame only. Please? Crikey. I worry about the cyclingnews people though I must say. They say crap like "RRP - Frame: US$3,199 - Complete bike: $5,800 (approx)", and if they can show me how that bike, with those wheels and a Campy Record group is only US5,800.....I run out and buy one tomorrow. |
You know, the Australian wildlife doc. Something about crocodiles, some guy with a knife...
|
Ohhhhh... you mean Crikey! man? ;)
Hey, some dude called The Convert posted on the goals thread "seven tours". I posted back Tours de Backyard?. And he got *****ty about my creativity. I couldn't have offended a pro, could I (props to me if I have!!!)? |
Maybe he called himself The Convert, as an indication of his ability to "convert" fantasy into reality?
|
Hats off to Rowan for stirring it up! Is there another thread that takes so much pride in offending others? BTW, no. Not Irwin, but Mick Dundee.

The HSC5 fork is about 100gms lighter than the previous model. You get a colour coded seat post as well. The 05 version is about $600AUD more than the 04.....The 04, frame, fork & headset was $5K AUD retail, but we get ripped off in Oz anyway......& who pays retail?......That pricing in the review was up that well known creek, I'm with you, If i could get the 05 in the review for $7K AUD I'd jump at it......mine cost more than that, but with DA10 & Cosmics..... Hitchy |
ahhh...sorry, missed the humour....actually, the final scene when max has chained that dude to the car & is walking away...you see the explosion in the background?.....was filmed about 5 mins ride from my place.....(now you can sleep tonight!) |

What's the best thing about breaking your heel? It doesn't stop you riding. :D
