Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: how long have you got?

LOL.....I've never heard a seppo come up with a decent 'G'day' either....pommies can't do it either....its always 'Geeday'. fair dinkum?....you can't use fair dinkum?.....try it as a sentence of its own....the proper use of 'fair dinkum' is as a question...by itself...as an answer to almost anything anyone says to you.

In its sarcastic sense, its it can also be a term of derision to something you don't believe

G'day is too native for me. I prefer "how ya goin?" I'll catch on to fair dinkum some day though. I just throw the kids some Spanish when they make fun of me. And yes, he's a hero for cooking with a disability, and posting too. No, he's a legend.

So you here for good?...whats the John Dory?.....( John Dory is a fish...it also rhymes with 'story', thus anyone who says to you 'what's the John dory?' ....is enquiring about whats happening?.....I think the current US equivilant is 'wassup Bro'?.....LOL...add John Dory to your collection!)

The missus is a Newie girl, in the best sense of the word. She wants to move to the US though, because she loves the town I lived in. We've got the little problem of it being very expensive to live there, and also I can't just take the kids overseas without some sort of battle, or at least an agreement. Took $5k in court fees to get a passport for one. Cost her ex a heapin big chunk of his super for being such a w@nker.

Obviously a man who can only remember last night's woman. She was tops in the Olympic series. Ohhhh, you are only looking at her as Kimmie. Whatever.

Pr!ck. My ex-wife changed the surname of my kids to the bloke she married. When it came to passports and stuff, did I put up resistance. It hurt a lot, but no...

He took the hard way on that one. I plugged the figures into a compound interest calculator, and it's like $200k when we're able to access it. We've promised ourselves we'll take it in a lump sum and send him a copy of the cheque. Unless we're overseas, then we'll send him a copy of the check.

Ouch! She happened to be online @ matchmaker.com at the same time I was on there looking for pen pals before I came here and NZ on holiday. I sent her a ticket, had her meet me in Auckland where we spent a week together, and then we came back to Oz. I went to Cairns for 12 days, came back down here and bought her a ring, flew her to the states in Feb 03, got hitched in Vegas, sold my home and moved here June 03. That's the short version. She obviously has good taste. I have about 5 minutes more tonight, and then the missus and I will spend some quality time. Oh, we'll talk about you here during the day when you can't defend your honor.

Fuggin 'ell. You need to work here. They outright trade pr0n over email here, and browse it on the web to boot. Admins know all about it but don't do a thing. Crazy considering where I work.

For those that aren't at all interested, dinner was good, but not my best (I always aim to outdo myself). Don't know whether to blame it on the weather, the foot, or you fellas. Wouldn't be my drunk self though. No. That when the best work is done.

BTW, always good to get the admins passwords, so when they start givin you grief, you can browse their system, then let them know why it might not be the best idea to give you grief. Always works for me.

Just don't blame it on the Canadians, or the mods will come down on us again for political incorrectness. Shouldn't that be the subtitle of this thread?

Until the heat melts the plastic tata's, and you end up eating plastic marinaded steak.

I'm sure the kids could probably teach you a thing or three about those words now as well. Little buggers.

Ya know, it's the BEST time to post. Them over there on the other side of the Pacific are ... well... anything but looking here. The NZer think they are a bit of a problem. But you can pour cr@p on everything you can find, then go back next day (whenever) to find out what's happened. GREAT fun.

Confirmed not broken. But the doc confirmed that bruised bones hurt as much as broken ones, I'm thinking to salve my wounded pride and ensure I come back again to pay him $52 a pop. It actually still hurts like a *****, but that couldn't have anything to do with me being a big sook.
