No idea man. I try to keep my files under 100k, and I generally upload from my hard drive or link from the Thy website. What did you do differently between posting that last pic and posting the second last pic?
Speaking of which, some late night fun...... |

Speaking of which, some late night fun...... I dunno what I'm doin' I'm pretty sure I loaded them onto the server the same way. The larger guitar pic was loaded onto the server on Monday, then today, after not touching it, the bigpond host has shrunk the picture. |

. . . Anyone know why? 531 - are you using [img}? that would be one reason for that. The manage attachments thing shrinks em to thumbnail size prior to displaying them. Thylaccine - but he (Habib) was suspected of terrorist activity, or he fought for the taliban, or he didn't vote for bush, any of which totally justifies 3 years in Gitmo. (hey not all seppos are stupid, some of us actually have been out of the country). Mark Bode is carrying on his fathers legacy, good to see that one. |
thanks

On the subject of price, how expensive are bikes/parts in Aus? Anyone know why? Confession: I once bought something at my LBS. Rim tape, which is generally about U$.99, was AU$16 for two rims worth. I then went home and ordered two 60 yard rolls at exactly the same price from overseas. Works out to 1/40 the AU price. But don't even get me started. |

You could buy one of these http://www.thylacinecycles.com/gallery/album03 singlespeed frames for AUD2005 and fit it out at the local bike shop with these exact parts for about AUD5800..........or buy direct the whole thing direct for about AUD4600.
1200 bucks buys a lot of willpower, Munchie. Plus, who wants to pay 8 bucks for a tube I KNOW costs the wholesaler about a buck!?!?! 8 bucks is a good feed down at Laksa King fer cryin' out loud :D |

It's a total grin machine the ol' proto boinger. I'd love to bolt some modern shocks to it though - the ol' Z1 X-Fly and Float are a bit dated. Amazing how things can improve in 2-3 years.
And yes Exy, you read that right. Steel. 21.5lbs....and it's not even a light frame ( Columbus Zona, XL size ). I started off like everyone else with a cobbled together singlespeed, but 6 years later this is what happened. What can I say? It's a disease. I know you can all relate, so don't pretend :p |
Semd me the spec sheet Tiger, down to the last nut and bolt.

Speaking of cobbling things together: Have you finished assembling your road-warrior Expat?
