Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Takes you right back to being a little kid, and all you want is your Daddy back.

TS, if you are ever back in the former house again, take all of the toilet paper. I can say with well nigh certainty that men rarely check the availability of TP before committing to its need.

Sorry to hear about your dad, PCAD. I know it was his time, but it's still a loss for you and your family. My condolences.

here is my 2 cents...

if this thread were not in road, i would probably not look in now and again. and on the occasions when i go awol, i would not come back in after whatever reason for awol no longer exists. this is because i am browsing the road forum and i will see what's happening here while i am in the forum. it's fun to see what other like minded folks are up to. but if it all ends, who the hell really gives a damn.
